Kia ora my name is Maxine Poa and I am the daughter of Heeni Grant and the mother of Nicholas Poa.

My Role at Te Waka o Matariki is the Centre Manager and I provide the following services to name a few

  • Supporting the lead practitioners.
  • Networking and building relationships within the community and abroad.
  • Hosting International and local visitors.
  • Maintaining the Wairua (spirit) of the centre.

I come from a background as an owner operator of my own private businesses and have accumulated many years of experience that I utilize here at Te Waka o Matariki.

John Oxlade

Pip's husband, John has been in IT for over 30 years and provides support on matters "IT" for the centre and also puts together a lot of our promotional material and flyers.
